Amir Khan v Paulie Malignaggi Preview

Khan v Malignaggi

Khan v Malignaggi Betting Preview

Amir Khan has hand picked fights throughout his career, the kid has all the attributes and weaponary in his arsenal to be world class, however he has one fundamental floor, a glass jaw. No amount of training can correct that fact.

The fight against Paulie Malignaggi is a joke, Malignaggi shouldn’t have been in the same city as Ricky Hatton nevermind boxing ring. Malignaggi couldn’t fight his way out of a paper bag, he hasn’t got knockout power. The 1.2 available on betfair for a Khan win is stealing money, lump on.

Think back to the Khan v Barrera fight, my favourite quote came from Don King “we’ll dust him off and put him right back in the fold”. Barrera was well past his sell by date and looking for one last pay day. Khan duly despatched him with the aid of a cut.

Khan then stepped up to the plate against Andreas Kotelnik and looked impressive, he’ll look to carry that form forward and produce a knockout on his Madison Square Gardens debut. Let’s face it he is facing nothing of substance here, Malignaggi has powder puff in his gloves and won’t be able to tickle Khan’s chin.

It should be a decent enough fight but it’s more of a Khan procession than a boxing match. I’d like to see Khan in against a decent fighter with a punch, instead of conning the Great British public with these hand picked opponents, but I wouldn’t bank on it any time soon.

In conclusion Khan is a mortgage job for this one. get on.

Well the money proved right, Malignaggi holds his hands too low against arguably one of the quickest boxers on the planet at this moment in time. It’s odds on he was gonna get tagged alot. He put up more of a spirited performance than expected, but I think he is done for now. As the only fights he’s got left are gruelling ones against opponents who can bang abit, so the same story will be played out. Bottom line is Malignaggi just isn’t good enough.
