The bout was staged on what would have been German legend Max Schmeling’s 100th birthday but American Brewster proved a party pooper by flooring the home hope twice.
Krasniqi held his own for eight rounds before a big right sent him crashing to the canvas and he was clearly hurt when going down again towards the end of the next round.
Brewster, who claimed the title with a fifth-round win over Wladimir Klitschko in April last year, took his record to 33-2 with a third successful defence.
